RULES & ELIGIBILITY

Participation is open to any student enrolled:

• In grades 6-8
• In a public or private school
• In a state-approved home-school program
• Within the geographic boundaries served by a sponsoring intermediate unit

A student may submit an individual project and a group project, however a school team may only submit one project.

Projects may be submitted by individuals or groups (up to three students each).

Each student winning their regional competition is invited to represent their school and project at the state competition in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on April 23, 2008.

All projects must be approved by the sponsoring teacher. A faculty advisor/sponsor must be identified. The faculty advisor/sponsor will be responsible for accompanying students during the regional and state competitions. All communication will be provided through the sponsoring teacher.

The faculty advisor/sponsor will register projects online for participation in their regional competition.

Copyright policy

Copyright Sign-off forms* are required for each project. This form must accompany each entry into the 2008 Computer Fair. The form must be signed by all students of the project team and the sponsor.
